well aware of the process but the funds in the account is a small problem....Therefore I think I'll be booking a room in Vientiane for a couple days.

Thanks for your reply and any other advice is more than welcome!

Thanks for your replies. May have mis-worded a bit trying to keep it short.

My miniscule understanding of the TM47 is that it's an application asking (the gov't) to stay for 90 days, given you have a current visa/extension when applying.

Current plan is to go to Vientiane for a new visa Sep.21.

Only questioning if the 90-day "report" grants time beyond the extension (if/when accepted)

If you mean the 60-day extension, that's issued once per visa and I've already used it (by mistake while waiting for them to extend one of the last-minute covid deadlines.)

...But thanks for your suggestion!

Lack of (time with) funds on account or of course I would apply for a new 1-yr extension. Just looking for anyone who's possibly jumped these hoops already, so thanks for your friend's story.

This is basically plan B only for convenience's sake... Plan A is to apply for a new 1-yr visa in Laos.

Thanks
@Benj****
!

Correct, non-o based on marriage.

My under consideration stamp was given today, (I'm starting the 60-day count today)

23rd may be a day or 2 overstay but I will go in on the extension expiration date and go from there.....

Just to clarify, no new visa needed?

Thanks again!
