you were not on a 90 day non-B visa. You were on an extension of stay based on employment.

A 90 day report is NOT an extension of stay and is not related.
Benjamin ******
@Lee *******
if you read the “90 day extension “, it says “this is not an extension of stay”. Your extension of stay is valid until April 30, 2022.

On your last day of employment, cancel your work permit, and then cancel your extension of stay based on employment. You have until 11:59pm the same day to leave Thailand before going on overstay .

You may be able to get the extension of stay cancelled in advanced.

Your landlord should complete the TM30, using the Section 38 application, since it requires some of his information

@MJ ******
A person doesn't need that to self file a TM30. Read Tod Daniel's post at

Most immigration offices require a person to get a 30 day extension of stay based on tourism before being allowed to get a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19 🙂

You'll be fine.

1. Apply for a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19. See my "Pinned/announced" post for the specific information.

2. I never heard of any formal rejections for the FIRST 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19.

3. You *WILL* get an overstay stamp in your passport, but it will say "Fined waived due to closure".
