TLDR : Answer Summary
The person is concerned about their tourist visa expiring before they can renew it, as the immigration office is closed until Monday. Comments suggest that there may be a grace period due to the closure, advising to apply for a 60-day COVID-19 extension and noting that while an overstay stamp may occur, it will indicate a fine waiver due to closure.

If your visa renewal falls on a day they are closed I do believe you get a grace period due to them being closed

You'll be fine.

1. Apply for a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19. See my "Pinned/announced" post for the specific information.

2. I never heard of any formal rejections for the FIRST 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19.

3. You *WILL* get an overstay stamp in your passport, but it will say "Fined waived due to closure".

I came in on a 30 day, got another 30 extension. They wouldn't give me a 60 last time. But I'm hoping to get another extension. Thank you tho!

Most immigration offices require a person to get a 30 day extension of stay based on tourism before being allowed to get a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19 ๐Ÿ™‚
