Went to Chonburi Immigration at 6:45 this morning. The entire yard was full when I got there and by 8A.M., the line extended down the street heading to the beach. I’m guessing at this point some folks might consider just jumping in. Around 9:30 I was let in but then the final visit only took a few minutes (changing from retirement to marriage). After 3 hours I left tired but elated.
Best of luck to all.

Yes but I did it late in the visa. It’s a pain to do paperwork, photos of the couple in every room of the house, copies of the marriage certificate, a visit from the authorities, etc, Sill it frees up 400,000 Baht.
Thanks for the information, it is busy at every Immigration Office today and it will be tomorrow. Tomorrow is the last day for the Extension of Stay based on unable to travel and without a new announcement everybody tries to stay another 60 days in the land of smiles.
Thanks for your comment. The best part was when I asked at immigration should I show up on Friday the 21st or Monday the 24th. She said Monday would be much better. OMG what was Friday like then?
