I've done it several times, but not since covid. There was always a check point anyway in Lampang (tea money!). I'd be interested to hear also.

What you need is "a return or onward ticket" ... a cheap flight to a neighbouring country will do, so long as it shows you leaving Thailand.

 as stated above - NO vaccine can be 100%. Yet some countries insist on such as yellow fever vaccines ... which aren't 100% either.

 no vaccine is perfect. I take a flu vaccine every year ... I am fully aware that I could still catch the flu and/or pass it on.
