Hello again,

I am trying to apply for the STV visa. So I found out that I need a backflight too. I thought if it is possible to nenew it twice I can just buy a backflight when I know for sure when I want to go back home again. Because now I dont know yet, if I want to stay just 90 days or 180 days. What would be the best option for me, what could I do if I am not sure yet when to go back?

If I would like to extend my visa for another 90 days do I need an active insurance again which will cover everything, because for now I will just get the insurance for 90 days.

I appreciate your help. Thanks

try an onward ticket website, they are cheap and can give you the proof you need:

it’s not actually a fake ticket, it’s real. But you book it then get a refund, digital nomads have been using it for years.

What you need is "a return or onward ticket" ... a cheap flight to a neighbouring country will do, so long as it shows you leaving Thailand.
