thanks for a quick and many answers. im planning to go 2nd or 3rd April coz my visa expire 7th and is Saturday. The problem is if we take the bus from Khon Kaen it is only 2 buses per day. 2pm and 3.30pm. the ride take 4 hours so if the last bus leave Mukdahan 4.30pm we will be very late. We will see about the taxi or the tuk tuk from the Mukdahan bus station. We was planninng to stay 2 or 3 nights to get in time to the consulate and after for the waiting time to get my passport back. Thanks guys again

could do the 90 days crossing by Mukdahan-Savannakhet? or better by Myanmar?

the problem is i dont want to go in and out all the time. i want to spend another 60 days here as i can see is possible and i will go back to work and save some money and come back again and go ahead with the 1 year extension...

Omg finally some useful information thank you very much. So you say i can get another 60 days of extension in Thailand? By any Immigration office? The problem is i have to go back to work anyway coz i dont have enough money for the 1 year extension. And if i can find someone who can help us i will try to take get my wife over to Northern Ireland. That is the plan so far...
