Am I over or under budgeting for a 6-month stay in Thailand?

Phuket.

It depends on the standard you’re used to. If you want a tiny room in a condo and the cheapest food, feel free to cut costs in half.

But if you want a villa with a pool and a decent European-style restaurants, then somewhere around $3k will be it (not including bar ladies, I have no idea about their prices).

SCB is my favorite do far

Kasikorn is also quite good

BKK bank has the worst app 😆

However please note that there’re no multi-currency accounts in Thailand!!
