1: They would, so it’s not recommended. And it’s never a good idea to be listed with a overstay, no matter if it’s only for one day

And most likely the airline will not let you on the plane if you don’t have a valid VISA if you gonna stay longer then 30 days, or a ticket out of Thailand within 30 days

certificate of residence is necessary, because there is your address stated

Normally it’s no appointment, you just come and make the tests and handover the documents, but now during covid you might first book a time and then come back, if so you can absolutely start to book a time and then fix all your documents

TM 30 is initially required for your report of residence when you stay in private home and not in a hotel

So every time you will visit immigration and they see that you haven’t file the the TM 30, there is always a risk that you get fined, not necessarily, but why take the risk

You have one year to renew your license after it expired and yes you need to go to DLT to do a reaction and a eye test. And the documents you need to bring with you is

1. Certificate of Residence in original

2. Health certificate in original

3. Copy of your passport and copy of your TM6

4. Passport in original

5. your old driver license
