@Pensom *****
, that doesn't mean that there is some price gouging going on.

@Janne **********
, I am with you on that. I am already allowed in, but am not willing to jump through more hoops and pay the rediculous cost.
Rick *******
@Sammy ******
, will rates go down after there is a Covid-19 vaccine available?
Rick *******
@Stewie ****
, not invalid. I said that I will be waiting until next year until I try to go back. The Thai government is already talking about reducing the quarantine duration Once a vaccine is made available, things will change again. Thanks for your input.

@Stewie ****
, I will continue to get my visa in Los Angeles every year until they change. Right now Thailand requires health insurance and payment for quarantine along with expensive flights. Those are all additional costs from what I have paid before Covid-19.

@Stewie ****
, no I mean that I never had to show bank money when I returned to Thailand from Lao. My visa was for a year, but immigration stamp was 90 days with no other requirements, including money. The Thai Consulate in Los Angeles only required 700 dollars in a US bank account and that has not changed, yet.

@Stewie ****
, I never needed to show financial proof when leaving the country every 90 days.

@Stewie ****
, oh crap. Thank goodness I live only 45km from the Laotian border. My visa was always stamped for 90 days only and I was unaware that you just needed to go to immigration for another 90 stamp.

@Stuart ********
, it is not really logical to enforce the quarantine when someone has been vaccinated.

@Stewie ****
, that is what I did for many years. Has not leaving and reentry every 90 days been put on hold due to Covid-19?
