For domestic travel in Thailand if you need to board an airplane then you will need to bring your passport for ID check. If you have a driver's license, they should accept that too. For Thais, they will accept national ID cards or driver's license.

Exactly! Just a photocopy will suffice. Unless you are going to the bank or need to work out documents with officials, then you need to bring the original passport. Good luck to all of you out there 💖

You can contact the embassy and tell them about the flight cancellation. Usually you can just modify the dates of your flight as soon as you get the new flight confirmed. If there is no definite new flight date then, yes you may have to apply for a new COE but best is you register your concern with the embassy who issued your COE because they might have a time frame to let you to hold on to this COE until you can confirm a new date to travel. Good luck !!😇❤️🙏😊

I’m so sorry for you 😭😨 pls wait a bit then...but with infections coming in from international arrivals I’m not sure when Thailand will really open up. If I hear anything will share here too. But if you really have a valid reason to go to Thailand, they will make exceptions. One reason is for medical treatment or family or other urgent matters. Good Luck and thanks for the info. I still think you can talk to the embassy and seek for other types of visas. Just try ❤️🙏

it has to be from where you’re flying from. But the documentation process is rather difficult. You can try to talk to the thai embassy in Phnom Penh first. They can help go into details with you

it’s up to each individual case. If it doesn’t suit your needs you don’t need to shame it and call it “bullshit”. Airing grievances without good reason is uncalled for. You failed to mention that the fee is for life. All countries have their procedures and red tape. They are there for a good reason. If not, changes can be made and adjusted too.

You probably are eligible to apply for a permanent residency already, which is a whole long red tape but may be worthwhile cos then you won’t need to worry about applying for new visas anymore
