But bank accounts are being frozen, costs are rising and immigration are being firmer. Things change. But if you watched all 31 minutes of this (which I did). There is a lot of warnings and good advice. Especially in the last 5 minutes. Peoples circumstances differ, but I know that this is not an isolated incident and not BS as some have said.

You’ll struggle to even get a Thai bank account on a DTV visa. It can be in any account in your name as long as it’s been there for 3 months or more.

Being Australian you may well need to be fairly close to the coast, there’s lots of beautiful areas but without coastal proximity I would personally write them off (but that’s me), Hua Hin offers what you’re looking for
