@Ken ******
He is mailing the passport to a friend. And no: I do not know the difference. What would it be? Could you enlighten us? What could you do with my passport if I mail it to you? Nothing obviously. So ... what is your point?

No idea. The point is: the guy in question has a passport full with stamps. Only the "cancel visa stamp" is missing. So, he can mail it to his friend, that is the guy who asked the question. And the author of this post can go with the passport and the agent to immigration.

No idea what you are nitpicking about. I guess passports never get stolen. A damn bag that happens to have a passport inside gets stolen.

And what actually would happen if I sent my passport to an agent to cancel a visa. It is a passport. Not testament.

You can always get a new one. And parent pointed out: he is about to get a new one.

Yeah, and the institutions issuing passports always break that guidance.

If you are less than 180 days per year here, than you are not a tax resident. But why do you bother? I would prefer to be a tax resident in Thailand, as the taxes are jokingly low.

They could post mail to sent the passport to an Agent.

Some Visa have reentry permit included, e.g. the famous multiple entry tourist visa.

There is nothing complicated.

It is the same in your country. Or do you think I can just go there and leave and go back like a normal citizen?

If your visa does not contain "multiple reentry" then you have to buy an reentry permit. Or a new visa.

Up to you.

No. The Condo owner might ask, and have his own dreams about what visa you should be on. But there is no "legal" requirement for any visa.
