Tourist visas usually have a validity of 3 months and you need to enter in that period, the visa cannot be extended.

You will be stamped in for 60 days when you arrive.

You can apply (once) to stay an extra 30 days at an immigration office whilst in Thailand.

You will need to leave after a total of 90 days.

Do you actually mean a Visa Exempt entry ? I don't think Visa on Arrival entries can be extended. What is your nationality ?
Martin *******
You are definitely on overstay. The fact you have a visa is irrelevant as you did not use it on your entry.

@Vance ********
yes, if you buy the appropriate re-entry permit BEFORE you leave for the first time.

If you use Wise and Bangkok Bank, selecting "long term stay in Thailand" as the reason for the transfer ensures the incoming funds are annotated as "International". Other Thai banks may record it as a local transfer as that is the way Wise works apart from the case above. You may have issues with immigration accepting Wise and/or bank documentation if the bank's side shows "local".

Lots of useful information in this group.

If you can actually find a domestic flight that isn't cancelled, visas and permissions to stay are never checked by airlines.

just stating the facts, a simple search could have saved you a wasted journey.
