Hi! I was wondering what happens if you get an under consideration stamp and show up at immigration a day or two late? Does it count as an overstay? Does it void the visa? Are there any penalties at all?

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you show up late after receiving an Under Consideration stamp from Thai immigration, you risk losing your current stamp and may need to leave the country and restart the visa application process. It's strongly advised to appear on the specified date. If you're unable to attend, contacting the immigration office prior to the stamped date is recommended to explain your situation, as they may provide guidance or allow a new date, otherwise you must adhere to the original date to avoid cancellation of your application and potential penalties.

If you can not go on stamped date, contact the Immigration Office and explain your problem.
Best case scenario: They accept your request and you can come on a new set up date
Worst case scenario: They say no and you have to come on stamped date.
So pick up the phone in stead of Facebook.

As a general rule, you show up on the day that is stamped in your passport, unless there is a delay in your paperwork on their end, then they will give futher instructions. SHOW UP, they do have the power to cancel your application, and give you 7 days to leave the country.

Unless you are incapacitated, go on the assigned day !

The risk if you don't show up on the day specified would be that you lose your current stamp, need to leave once, and have to do the visa application process all over again from scratch.

Do yourself a BIG favor...
Show up at the Thai immigration office on the exact date instructed.
Be thankful for the UNDER CONSIDERATION stamp.
