Can I board a domestic flight in Thailand if my visa is expired by a few days?

Pardon my question

Anyone knows if the domestic flight would allow a person with a few days over stay for boarding?

For example, my COVID Visa will expire on the 30th August but I will have to fly domestically on 1 September so would I face any trouble at the airport?

Thanks in advanced

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus among commenters is that when flying domestically in Thailand, you typically do not go through immigration, which means airlines usually do not check visa status. However, it is recommended to apply for a visa extension before flying to avoid potential fines or issues, especially during inter-provincial travel where police checks may occur.

Thank you very much everyone.

The risk far outweighs the benefits.

If you can actually find a domestic flight that isn't cancelled, visas and permissions to stay are never checked by airlines.

Inside the airports, there might not be a chance to be checked. Just be aware there might be several chances of police check, especially on inter-province travels.

I agree with others, it better to get an extension before you travel.

Just apply for new covid extension before flying, simple no?

The thing is I have to be in Tak province in beginning of September but I would not be back in Bangkok soon once I leave. I will have to wait for 15 days for stamp with the Covid visa which not a good idea for me. Think of applying Covid visa in Tak province but not sure if I would face any problem getting in or out of the domestic airport.

The "under consideration" stamp, IF they are being issued for a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19, can be thought of like a "Temporary extension of stay". Your legal right to stay in Thailand is UP TO the "under consideration" stamp date. When you close out the under consideration stamp, the immigration office WILL either give you the balance of the time for the extension of stay (ALWAYS with a 60 day extension of stay based on COVID-19), OR issue you a 7 day extension of stay denied stamp.

You fly domestic to Suvarnibhumi to leave Thailand or otherwises I suggest to avoid fines and problems by applying for a new Extension before you start to travel around.

You do not cross immigration when you fly domestic, and the people who issue the tickets at the counter do not understand visa stamps/ visa stickers
