@Michael *******
oh I see... thank you for explaining that. Makes sense.

You had this info in a immigration office, ir in an agency...?

@Bobby *******
they said it's because I already extended in February... until April; so I cannot extend anymore. They said we can just extend 1 time in this period from Jan 25 to March 25th.

šŸ™

Then I asked them if this is a rule from this Pai office in special, and the officer said that it is a rule from Thai government....

So I'm really confused.......

Ps: yes I have and always had tourist visa. 2 years in Thailand.

@Bobby *******
thank you for clarifying this.

I tried it twice in Pai imigration and they said it's not possible...šŸ™

You have any idea which immigration is allowing this?

(Closest for me are Mae Hon Son and Chiang Mai, but if it's Safer to go to Surathani or Koh Phangan, I can try too).

Just don't wanna do a trip just for it, and not be able to extend the visa.......

@Michael *******
what you mean Michael? Not sure if I understood..... you mean if I try to extend today, they would give the 60 days extension from today, and not from the day my visa expires?

@Bobby *******
thanks for your answer, Bobby.

I went to an immigration office twice, and they said I can't extend anymore....(because I already extended in Febuary, until April 18th).

But I think other people with covid visa expiring in April are being able to extend it lately, didn't they?

And last question please:

You said "TR or visa exempt" - is covid visa included in some of these 2 visas you mentioned? (Sorry for my ignorance...:).
