TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses the experiences and options for non-vaccinated individuals looking to perform a visa run from Thailand. It highlights significant quarantine requirements when traveling to Cambodia, while mentioning that Vietnam no longer requires vaccination documentation, making it a more accessible destination for the unvaccinated. Additionally, one participant shares a positive experience with extending a visa in Samui without needing to leave the country, suggesting that there may be alternative options to consider.

Silvia yes, it was almost a month still on my old.visa. but I wanted to know if I could extend so I went there and then gave me 2 more month after the expiring of the one I hadthey even gave me a 90 days paper without me asking for it. So I was very happy because I had a bad experience on KPG with that...

So really recommend Samui. Easy and flowing, friendly people and good service.

Good luck ๐Ÿงก

Vietnam doesn't ask for a vaccination document any longer. Definitely easiest country to go to in the region if not vaccinated at the moment.

You can do Cambodia, but it's 14+10 days, total 24 days locked in a hotel room!
