You need deposit to thai account for 12 month extension and season funds 2 months.. For initial visa you can show your foreign account statements. When i did apply they needed 15.000€ balance and 6 month statements.

older vehicle i think over 5years old are checked but newer not. Itp is pink book and under 300 and renewals annually if needed cheaper. My insurance was only 7 days but second time they gave 14 day. Remember put stickers to windows.
