nope, BB require the money to be seasoned for 4 months. If the money has been already been in the account for 4 months they issue the certificate of deposit immediately, no issues. If not they request you accept the funds will be frozen until the 4 month period has passed but will still issue the certificate of deposit immediately on request.

not true, banks are fully aware of what is and what is not a long term visa. There are no issues opening an account on a Non-O visa.

180 days in a tax year inside the Kingdom means you become tax resident. That may or may not mean you will be taxed.

No there is no minimum time you have to be in Thailand on a retirement visa.
