sounds good. No bars. But if you like the outdoors then plenty to do. Golf courses are also open. I also scuba dive so not being able to get South is an issue for me. But I have lived in Chiangmai off and on for 60 years. So I love it here and love the people.

If you not an alcoholic and love the outdoors then now is a good time. I golf on mostly empty courses, swim in beautiful empty pools, and walk on lovely empty beaches. I did my quarantine in Bangkok back in January. Not a big problem. Come prepared with electronics and books.

I have a 50+ visa and they will not even let me volunteer.
