According to your information it will be over 1 year since he was last in Thailand. He should be allowed the visa exempt entry. However, he can always apply online for the tourist visa through Thai immigration for a small fee. Then you know for sure.

Look into getting your kids an educational visa once and then you could get a guardian visa. With the information you posted this might work for your situation.

You can have a Thai friend pay it with bank transfer and give them cash.

Rage fight academy Pattaya im September cost me 37,000 baht cash for their 2week 1 year Muay Thai DTV option. They gave me all the paperwork and I asked the to email it to me.

I paid cash but highly recommend you pay with a credit/debit card. They requested a bank transfer slip as proof of payment and that wasn't fun explaining

I was in your situation and didn't worry about any paperwork for stopping the educational visa. If you leave Thailand without getting the re-entry paperwork the Educational Visa is automatically void/canceled.

Flew to the Philippines, did my dtv on my cellphone, and within 8 days of submitting it I had my DTV. That included re-submitting documents they requested that I had included.

1 thing i recommend is if your using the soft power option is to pay for the course with your bank card. I paid cash and they wanted a bank transfer slip. I uploaded screenshots of 🏧 withdrawals, bolt transfer to the muay thai gym, and nice letter explaining everything with a copy of the receipt stating paid cash again.

I ask 1 of my friends who has a Thai Bank to make the transfer for me. I give them cash, they transfer the money, they send me the transfer receipt, and I forward it to my agent/landlord for proof.

As for for Electricity and water you can ask a friend to stop by and get the bill to pay it while your gone. I haven't tried it but maybe you could pay an extra 100 baht or so on your next electricity and water bill to see if it stays on as credit. If it does and you plan on being gone for 2 months put a little extra on it before your trip and don't worry

Hope this helps
