what cloud did you drop off mate. Been no tourists for nearly 2 years if you don’t like the entry requirements don’t come. It’s that easy.

there was a blanket ban on them all during some of the covid restricted times. If some hotels have restrictions on now I can't answer why they have. Maybe there choice if hotel is quiet as they need maintenance to keep clean.

years never been anywhere and no WiFi, many hotels and condos have had restrictions on pools and gyms because of Covid, nothing to do with finances.

Do I need to notify Immigration within 24 hours of moving to Chiang Mai from Bangkok?

Yes. I moved a few days ago and went to immigration with all the relevant papers the following day. 2 guys in front of me were both fined for not going to notify their change of address on time, both were a couple of weeks over, the lady stressed they should have come within 24 hours.
