My guess is he is saying that extensions not meant for preplanning purposes especially for tourist purposes. Also more scrutiny these days.

Is it an extension of an ED visa (every 3 months) or did you happen to have a 1 year ED visa that didn't need extensions every 3 months? If extension stamp of a ED visa I believe it is suppose to be cancelled. Is this correct

If you are talking about your 90 day report you can submit it up to 15 days before and 7 days after your 90 days.

Sorry, yes I give the school the passport and 4900baht, then I pick it up 2-3 days later from immigration.

Update: So picked up my passport with my 2nd extension for my ED visa at Chonburi immigration. Filled out the 90 day report paper and brought it to the immigration desk as my number was called. The immigration officer looked at it and my visa and said I didn't need to do 90 day reports. She said it's for foreigners on 1 year extenions and my extension is every 90 days. My address is reported with my extension.

. It is late already so if it's not counted then it will be a fine. Now just need to decide to report in August and see or go now and report, same fine if it was late.

I did not get that piece of paper and here is my 1st extension stamp.

I came in on a 30 day exemption and applied within a week and got the paperwork back before the 30 days was up. Was all pretty simple with the school I used but can extend if you need to.

Could go to immigration and try to sort it or wait until May 28th (or 60 days before July 28th) and make a quick border run. When you come back in make sure they know you have a 6 month multi entry. Sometimes they don't look or people forget to write the visa number on the arrival card and they just give the 30 day exempt stamp.
