Its unlikely that they will refuse you entry. Entering Thailand by Air is unlimited and they don't push a visa on you unless they see you are staying more than 30 days and extending a Visa exempt entry.

go to a bordering country every 3 months, get a tourist visa and come back. costs around 2000฿ to do it until you cant do it anymore then enroll in school and get an ED visa if you still want to stay in thailand.

Go to the border, stamp out, then stamp back in on a Visa exemption. Why risk paying fines for overstay, you can easily get to the border and stamp out in 2 hours with a cheap 500฿ flight from Don Mueng to Udon Thani

Exactly why would you need to pay Taxes in Thailand when your not even a resident? Your not officially "working" in Thailand if all your doing is online trading. You still need to pay taxes to your home country. If you got an official job inside of Thailand with work permit then you pay taxes to both Thailand and your home country. You would just be considered a tourist, but with with the elite visa it is valid for 5 years.

The proof of onward travel only applies at the ground desk when you check in for your flight into Thailand? Can anyone confirm if immigration officer at Passport control ever asks for proof of onward travel? Or is it known that the only thing they will ask for is to show 20K Baht cash? I just want to be prepared that the only thing Immigration will ask you before stamping you into Thailand is for proof of cash. They don't ever ask for anything else?

It seems like the US has a lot more immigrants and refugees and are more welcoming than Thailand, I think the laws are a lot more strict in Thailand because the US goes back to a time where it was built from immigration.

Will the US embassy find it strange if you apply for a new passport and still have a lot of blank pages and years left before it expires? What do you say if they ask why you want to get a new passport if its not expired and still has lots of pages?

So Vientiane only allows 2 tourist visas? Does this mean that you can't apply for any more tourist visas at Vientiane or at any Thai embassy that sees this stamp?
