TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is facing an issue with their education visa expiring before their scheduled flight out of Thailand. Possible options discussed include making a quick trip to Laos for a tourist visa or considering a risky visa overstay. Community members suggest that a border run is a safer option to avoid fines associated with overstaying, highlighting the ease of border crossings.

Overstay at the price of thousands and be listed just to do a border bounce... i think not better just do the bounce

Go to the border, stamp out, then stamp back in on a Visa exemption. Why risk paying fines for overstay, you can easily get to the border and stamp out in 2 hours with a cheap 500เธฟ flight from Don Mueng to Udon Thani

I think like Ann says you may be able to get the 7 day extension denied extension. Otherwise, you should be able to do a border bounce for a visa exempt, not necessary to get a new visa. Mae Sai from Chiang Mai, Kanchanaburi from Bangkok, etc. Just avoid Aranyaprathet, it has a not great reputation for it.

You might be able to get a seven-day extension at the Immi, can someone confirm?
