We noticed the wrong date in my wife's passport and went to immigration at CNX about 2 weeks later and they changed it no problem. When we left on the new date which was the same as mine she had no problems. Who knows!

You can sign a waiver form with Air Asia if they say something. Absolves them from responsibility. Use electronic check in and another trick is to go to a counter that's not busy or for your flight and just be pleasantly and they will process you quickly to get rid of you. Never been asked in KL.....

This is nothing but prejudice and jealousy towards our wives and girlfriends or boyfriends and husbands. Canada is also a nightmare now. Very sad that you have a job or money in the bank but the government makes decisions based on totally inappropriate information and denies visas for even a visit. There is no such thing as the truth with regards to visa rules! Tod has explained it well but what actually will happen is always a mystery. Our experience from October 2016 to present has been excellent. Air in/out 3 times 2 trips to Maesai. Nothing but pleasantries from immigration! Wonderful!
