TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can perform a border bounce with a 30-day extension in your passport. The extension does not affect your eligibility for a new visa exempt entry, provided you haven't reached the limit of two 30-day visa exempt entries by land within the same calendar year.

Whether you have an extension or not on your current entry doesn't have anything to do with whether you can border-bounce for a new visa exempt entry.

As long as you haven't hit TWO 30 day visa exempt entries by land in a calendar year you should be fine.
