Do they have a visa or extension of stay?

Visa should still be valid until the expiration date.

Extension needs to be cancelled and they can pay 1900 for 7 days I think.

When your work permit is canceled, how long do you have to leave Thailand?

You have to cancel your extension of stay that day. You can get a 7-day extension I think.

If you are still on the business visa stamp, you have until that day.

Yes but you should pay in ringgit. The Baht fee is higher.

Example: business visa is 300 MYR or 3000 Baht
