You do know you need to have a job offer to get the documentation from the employer to get the work permit and the Non-B visa though right?

You can't just go buy either of them.

it is so you can leave the country AFTER you get an extension of stay and come back without canceling your entry stamp.

There is NO year visa sold inside of thailand at the immigration offices. And now for most people to get year long visas from thai consulates based on employment (where you leave the country every 90 days) you need to be a director of the company. (If you can get that visa from a thai consulate it is about 5K baht)

a yearly extension of stay inside the country at all immigration offices is 1900baht, you get a 90 day Non-B visa, then you apply for a yearly extension of stay at the immigration office THEN if you need to you buy a re-entry permit for 1000baht for a single use one or 3800baht for a multi-entry one

If you pay in Baht, they ask for 3k

Inside of thailand a 90 day Non-B visa costs 2000baht from the thai immigration office (every office in the country has the same prices)

Outside the country the prices is set by the thai consulates but they're usually still close to 2000baht or so
