I applied for my 12 extension last month and I wasn't asked to provide that information.

I went back in December when I arrived and received it on the same day if you go in the morning before lunch, it will be ready in the afternoon around 2pm at the Jomtien office.

In Jomtien you can walk in no appointment needed.

You need your lease agreement and you will get the certificate the same day if you go in the morning.

For the bank account at K bank you will need the resident certificate from immigration in Jomtien.

I went through that whole process in December.

Wannikea Wanblee You don't know what you are talking about! That document is required for him to receive his visa! Maybe that wasn't your experience when you applied but unfortunately things have changed.

Tell the landlord if he doesn't agree you will break the lease. You must have that document for the Visa.

I just went to apply for my first 12 month extension on Thurs. I deposited the 800,000 as soon as I arrived in December to make sure it had time to season in the account. I had no problems at the bank or immigration.
