 i think the new law is about having photo taken. It's a pain yes but I did read that the Thai gov are acting on this problem now

 it's in the fine print that banks can close any accounts for what ever reasons! It's same in Australia, I went to ACCC and ombudsman with no favourable results. So change banks! K Bank works better
