I've done both mine on a TR 60 days and a letter from the local police station, plus the medical.

And obviously rocking up at DLT and doing the practical stuff.

Like colour blind, reaction test, and alignment of the two pegs on a bit of string.

Didn't have to sit through the two hours of video.. It's in Thai anyway.

Mine was issued only recently.

TR changed to non O 90 days.

The 50 plus or retirement extension of one year was added on to this.

Giving me almost 14 months.

My multiple entry stamp is valid for the same duration..

This is one year retirement extension of a O 90 days.

People get confused here.

But he is not talking extension.

He is asking about reporting.

And the required report every 90 days (proof of life lol)

Starts again with your return.

The counter goes back to 0 and day one is the first day you arrive back.

You also have to report residence on the first day back too.

Depending on your local immigration interpretation of the rules.

I left recently with my 90 days +2 expired.

Just to be safe I still fronted and did the 90 days report.

Because its linked to your TM6 I don't chance it now.

The fines could come up and bite you in the future sometime.

It's working good so far.

I was told when going out of bkk last time they only do the single re entry stamps at desk 2 / area 2..

So you have to make sure that you go up stairs in the right area.

It's confusing for the first timers like me.

I always stand and look before leaving the desk area.

Mine went from TR to 90 days O.

Then 90 days O to plus retirement extension.

The retirement extension gives me until March 2019.

Effectively 3 months plus 12 months.

Then the multiple re entry permit was added to this...

I know the stamping filled two pages.

But I always check it...

The first time going out I actually asked at the desk if it was all done right.

They were very nice about it.

Would hate to start again after only six months usage.
