You are required to cancel any ED extension at immigration with a letter provided by your school - otherwise face a potential overstay fine up to 20,000 Baht (even if you leave and return with different visa)
Well, my experience in Jomtien Immigration was amazing - walked in at 11am after sleeping in, and walked out 11.03am...all done in less than 3 minutes (TM30)
Tod Daniels I went to school and got a letter to cancel my previous ed extension today, having left on 27th March and returned on 12th April on new visa...and then went into immigration today and they cancelled previous ed extension with no fines or problems...Iβve been out and back for 30 days and no 500 Baht per day fine.
Thank you for your advice, better to be safe than sorry π
