thank you. But on passports they don't name it "place of issue". They name that field "authority". But I got it now. I will copy it exactly into the e-Visa form.

If they can tell you that the uncanceled ED Visa didn't lead to the rejection, why can't they tell you why it was actually rejected ?

Unfortunately, passports in the EU are not standardized. I just checked dutch passports and the Authority is under section 12 and in german passports it is under section 9. But thats not so important under which section it is. So, you didn't specify the country separately, you just copied the exact entry under section 12 from your Dutch passport, right?
