Anyone has done border run with DTV? My 180 days will expire soon. What was needed? Only passport or more? Did they check proof of 500k?
Please share your experience.
Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around experiences and requirements for making a border run with a DTV visa as the poster's 180 days is about to expire. Participants suggest bringing all supporting documents, including proof of 500k, to be prepared, although it's typically not required at the border. Clarification is sought on whether to use land borders or airports, with opinions varying based on personal experiences.
Anonymous participant 419 proximity would make sense and yet, some people report spending hours in a van and paying twice the cost of a flight.

Nomad version of dtv. Flew out and back twice. Also one land border crossing. No questions for me but I've heard others have had questions when entering again.

Juts take all possible supporting documents and proof 500k juts to be on the safe side? No harm in being prepared, although I doubt it will be an problem providing you’re 💯 legit
You can extend this period by an additional 180 days, effectively allowing a continuous stay of nearly one year without leaving the country , cost 1,900 ฿ (no need to proof fund again)

Zen Napapach proof of funds is a requirement if you do extension at immigration. I ask if its a requirement when I do border run.

Zen Napapach Wrong. Proof of funds is a requirement for DTV extension at immigration office.
Scan the group a bit, there has been some who has been asked to provide more information (might be depending on where the visa was acquired). But normally you're only supposed to need what you entered on the first time: the visa printed out and your passport.
