Well,I live in Phuket where I got my first two licenses, and last year went to get my new 5 year DL in Phang Nga based on my Phuket ones.

I am not affected by all this, but it seems from all the posts that Thailand is doing all it can to frustrate tourists.Exceptions are Russians and Chinese for whom they seem to lean backwards to accommodate them (with the latter having a lot of them jumping ship in Thailand)
