Hi Todd,

Saw you mentioned a while back that staying in a hotel that notifies immigration doesn't overwrite the address given as the home address for 90 day reporting, is this correct ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The confusion arises from the distinction between the 90-day reporting requirement and the TM.30 form. Staying in a hotel does not overwrite your reported home address for the 90-day report, as these are managed in separate databases.

you are confusing TWO totally separate things. A 90 day report <- that you do if you are in thailand longer than 90 days.

AND

A TM.30 form <- that you do within 24 hours of taking up residence here and that hotels do online for you.

Staying in a hotel in thailand doesn't affect the address you use for a 90 day report because they are two separate data bases.
