I have no idea mate but if they have arrested and charged Thai's then it's not much of a stretch to imagine that they would deport a farange.

The more answers I read the more confused I get, so........

800k in Thai bank for 2 months

Or

65k per month over preceding 12 months.

If both are correct and I deposit 65k per month does every baht need to remain, or can I use/withdraw/transfer as I see fit?

110 immigration officials arrested in February for visa fraud, I'm risk averse so I'm planning on tying up 80k and not getting deported.

I admit that I am a little worried Abt the health insurance, though In good health I'm 63 and suffered a stroke 7yrs ago, I guess I will soon see how tricky it is.

Thanks Brett, after advice elsewhere and a bit of looking I was thinking A-O might be best bet, I can do it but I must have my £ working for me when I stop working for £ 😊, and I'm sure a criminal check will be fine.😇
