Hi all, I'm just making my E-Visa application and I've come across this, my question is, confirmation of what exactly? I imagine that it is financial so would a wage slip suffice?

I'm applying for a regular 60/90 day tourist visa

TLDR : Answer Summary
In the context of applying for a 60/90 day tourist visa (E-Visa) for Thailand, there are some common documents and confirmations needed, particularly related to financial proof. While some users suggest uploading a document stating 'not applicable,' others recommend providing a bank statement showing a minimum balance (like €5,000) or a copy of a hotel booking as sufficient confirmation. Additionally, some find it helpful to use visa application companies to ease the process, though opinions differ on the necessity of doing so.

If you have a pension just upload the last pension statement. That’s what I just did and I got my visa is 3 days

A friend applied in Germany for a 60 day TV. The consulate in Frankfort told him, he needs to upload his bank statement with a balance of at least 5000€.

Any less funds, no visa!

any consulate can make their own requirements. This is how immigration law works in most countries.

yeah for the multiple entry visa it's €5000 *per month end for the last 6 month*

no, he applied for the 60 day tourist visa!

They didn't want to see the balance for the last six months, just wanted to see the 5000€!

Now applying for an Evisa online could confuse a stupid person, so thats why i used "The travel visa company,". for around £40 they do all the dragging/dropping/uploading/down loading/application etc on your behalf,. they send you a visa pack that you fill in by hand, you get some passport pics and a few photocopies done at max spielman, and post everything back to them and in a few days/weeks you receive your tr evisa back via email and hard copy,. simples,. (They aren't very quick answering the phone or responding to emails) but in my case they got the job done,.

You still need to prepare everything yourselfe, so no idea to pay someone to put in an application.

I,m emphasizing the point that not everyone is computer savy,. so yes you supply the visa company all your information, but they do all the online application part of the process,.its ok for the many people who are good on computers, but for the ones who aren't so good they have somewhere to help them,.

just upload not applicable image

I think on that I just showed bank balance to show enough funds for visit. To be honest I don't think what ever you put there will effect your application

Copy of your hotel booking should suffice

For this one it doesn't really make sense (at least for westerners) and you can usually just upload an image that says "not applicable"

really? That's all that's needed for this question ? No proof of income required ?

it's basically asking for you to show you have permission to leave on a trip. This is more focused towards poorer countries. There's other questions in the application about finances.

Thank you. Yes, some of the questions are difficult to fathom out. And I've done visa applications, several times. 😄
