Yes it is possible to naturalize but one way or another you have to give up your original citizenship

I read a similar story somewhere: a 90-year-old retiree who had been happily married to his Thai wife for 27 years. When his wife died, he had to leave the country, back to his native country. Where he had nothing. Well, he took his own life in Thailand. Very sad.

One disadvantage married visum: your wife must survive you, otherwise the married visum will be canceled and you can leave the country.. (or you must have children there, then sometimes they make an exception…)

ever been in Mae Sot? Now that's is for me Thailand (and myanmar because there are living also many Myamareese people) rural area relative small border city. Lived there for two years..
