no it is not like that, once you get it is valid for 5 years, and you do not have to prove anything, only the first time on the application you have to justify it with a course or medical treatment or that you are working remotely, after that you are free to come and go as much as you like, there is a maximum stay of 180 days that can be in any case extended to other 180 days, there is a speculation on the fact you can extended it every year or not, it is not specified, some says you can extend it the first year only, others says you can extend it every year, but there is not a minimum stay….
What about soft power fir example related about courses how to get a letter? There are specific courses approved by the Thai gov or you can get any course with a letter?
I have been several times in Scotland and I always recognise the difference respect English people as you said there is the exception but my judgment is on a large number of people not on individuals, my impression is that Scottish are more friendly and easy going also I like the landscape in Scotland, what I don’t like is that rain a bit more but you cannot have everything….again enjoy your new life in Thailand….
