Yeah it’s not about how much you earn , it’s about the 500k in the account.

Then depending on the location you apply it could need to be in your account for 3 - 6 months.

I applied in Sydney and I transferred it the day before the application.

no one has been sent home for not having it though…. It’s a requirement for applying for the visa ….. not for entering.

Sure people might have been asked for it…. But no one had been denied entry because of it…

Do you really think 31,000 people who have the DTV have 500k in the bank ?

That’s $465,000,000 USD collectively across all visa holders, i would image they would want us to be spending that money on Thailand rather than keeping it in the bank to satisfy the immigration office 🫡👌🙏🏽

I’ve entered around 12 times since October and I haven’t been asked to show any proof.

I would say dress appropriately, behave nicely.

I’m not saying people haven’t been asked to show proof on re entry but I would say your appearance and behaviour would play apart whether or not you get asked. Also I guess depending on your passport also…
