What sort of situation is your adult child ? If he is just an adult I don’t think you will get a dependent visa. Or does he have special needs?

@Brent *******
I don’t think there has been any reported cases of people not being let back in after border bouncing on a DTV. Only people being asked questions etc which is normal regardless of your visa

The document indicating current location needs to be the same as the embassy/ consulate you are applying at. For example I applied in Australia so i used my Australian drivers license.

But for example if I was to apply in Jakarta or Hanoi, i would have used entry stamp for either of the countries plus a hotel booking in my name ( receipt 🧾) and possibly a letter from the hotel.

Anonymous participant yeah so buy a condo , get the necessary paperwork then you will have about. A 90% chance of getting and account.

You won’t get one before , since buying a condo as a foreigner is under a ā€œforeign investor schemeā€ meaning the money has to be paid to the owner from an offshore account and to have the condo transferred to your name you have to prove the money was sent from overseas eg letter from you home bank, letter from receivers bank.

You can’t just save 3 million baht in a Thai bank and then go buy a condo.

Hope that makes sense !
