Hello ! I'm currently writing my application on the thai e visa website, and my home city is not listed in the dropdown menu. I can put my girlfriend address but I won't have any utility bill under my name.

Question:

- Does the document indicating current location has to be at the same address than the one I put on the application

- Otherwise, what document can I provide ? Proof of accommodation + utility bill under my gf name ?

Embassy of application : Paris

Thanks !

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is writing an application for a Thai e-visa but their home city is not on the dropdown menu. They ask if the document indicating their current location must match the address on their application and what alternatives they can provide. Commenters indicate that the location document should generally correspond to where you are applying from and suggest using a hotel booking or another form of ID that verifies your location.

Not clear, where do you need to enter “home city” from drop down list?

Plenty of people have ID for a permanent address like their parents home, but don't actually live there. The embassy simply wants to know that you're actually in the country.

The document indicating current location needs to be the same as the embassy/ consulate you are applying at. For example I applied in Australia so i used my Australian drivers license.

But for example if I was to apply in Jakarta or Hanoi, i would have used entry stamp for either of the countries plus a hotel booking in my name ( receipt 🧾) and possibly a letter from the hotel.
