that was to the other group I am in called Australians in Thailand. Some Aussies might not know of that group and this group is where they might end up. So I thought it is good to share the info to a wider audience.

you never know maybe Australia and New Zealand will be one of the 9 countries that evisa will be expanding to this year. They said this but didn't state which 9 countries were coming online.

One time I had a tourist visa in my passport but I did not mention it or put it on my TM6 card. (TM6 not currently in use). Anyhow I was going out after 3 weeks and new my TV would be wasted, however the immigration guy didn't pay attention to my available visa and just stamped me in for 30 days. I did my trip and came back to Thailand and this time I used my visa and got my 60 days, I was very lucky as they usually utilise the visa first.

Mine is the opposite. Sydney to Bangkok return most of the year has been around $1200. But today I put in a end of May return and it came out at $968 so $200 cheaper that usual, might get that.

In Jomtien office they wanted copies of bio page of passport, visa and entry stamp pages, tm30 docket, passport size photo of yourself and the application form which they handed me to fill in on the day. I was in at 9 am and out by 11 am same day.
