Hi Von i will try Kasikorn when i arrive on my non o as my Thai gf is with them, did they specificly ask for a Thai driver licence as that would definately slow things down for the mandatory 60 day bank account for ext.

Thanks for that Stuart i will be making my first application soon and was shocked to hear that but its obviously when you hit your destination the 90 will start so i will book my ticket early then apply for the non o following

@Dennis *********
That is very useful info Dennis i am going to buy my Air ticket early for march and was going to apply after that ,lucky i saw this i will wait until late jan before i apply for my O.

He should be careful if he goes down that dodgy agent road ,apparently Thai immigration are aware of it and could take action if money is removed.

Just go to your local immigration and choose your ticket option (extension) wait for your number on the big screen you will need your tm30 certificate from your landlord/hotel they should take a photo of you and charge you 100 baht ,they will stamp your passport and you pay 1900 baht but as someone said earlier some centres have different requirements but basicly your tm30 and passport should be enough.

I would take the same docs you had to use when you applied and got your non o with the bank statement letter ,that should cover everything , i heard you need to get the bank letter the same day you go to the office for your extension .The statement ,your tm30 proof of address and passport the 3 most important of course but take anything else you have in case.

Jesper i believe you can travel to Thailand with your documents of proof of earnings ect, go to the nearest embassy ( for me over the border in Lao )get your visa and extension if approved then to a bank as you said. I believe the difference is in your home country you will have to show health insurance to get the visa but in Thailand it is not required ,I am hoping thats correct as i plan to go to Thailand soon and do it all there with my thai gf .
