they said I was over my 180 day limit. they didn't say my visa was not valid. I know when you leave your visa ends, but they could have just stamped me with another visa exemption like they do with my girlfriend who goes to Laos and never has a problem getting a new visa exemption.
ok, I say deported because I have an apartment here in Patong. I wasn't just coming for the first time from another country. yes, denied entry, but they made me buy another ticket to leave. If I was denied entry, why couldn't I just fly to wherever I wanted to go, like Vietnam.??
one of the guys who as in holding with me, gave all his stuff to his thai GF to take back to the care while he. went through immigration passport, they snatched him and he had nothing, not even his phone. I said he could use my phone to call her but he couldn't remember her Thai number. and they wouldn't allow anyone to leave the room, not even to get something to eat. So she had no idea why or where he was for the whole night. all for an imaginary 180 number, no violation. he had to go back to Singapore too. then they told him he could not come back to Thailand for 6 months. but they told me I could come back to Thailand with a new E-visa when I leave, but said it's best to stay out of Thailand for 30 days before I come back after I leave.
yes, it is up to immigration and that is my problem. everyone told me, if I had gone to Udon Thani again, then they would have just given me another visa exemption for 60 days. but Phuket said no. BKK might have let me through. But Phuket is the strictest, at least for now. But all the Visa rules are going to change. the 60 day is going back to a 30 day. The rules should be uniformly enforced. For example, I had no luggage, nothing to declare, just my toothbrush and my phone charger in my backpack. My visa extension was still valid for another week. yet, I was shoved into a detention cell along with 8 others for the same reason. and imaginary 180 day visa limit.
