writing unacceptable actually works. If Bo says i will escalate blah blah blah, then i write unacceptable and he then refers me straight to an allstar

im still waiting 9months. Its approved in writing. They just wont phyiscally pay it out. Im betting the instruction is from the absolute top and is a tactic to make the company look financially different to reality.

wrong. They are cancelling and rescheduling a lot of flights and then offer a refund as an alternative option but then drag it out for about a year. If you accept and credit on your account they, its done in about 24hours.

Just type the word 'unacceptable' into the chat and he will redirect you to a real person.

Theyre total jerks now. I think the writing is clearly on the wall where they are headed and they know it.

Dont worry about it. You will be fine. Just make sure you have all the things you're meant to on arrival. Proof of accom. Proof of funds. Proof of flight out. Then you wont have an issue. Its all in the preparation.

I did the flight to paris not uk. But what i found was that AFTER you do checkin you can change your seat free of charge (but they charge if you want to do it beforehand). So i checked in online as soon as jt was opened and changed my seats. It was no issue and no cost. This was in Feb and May this year

My backpack usually weighs about 10kg when i put eveything back into the bag that i had in pockets/extra clothes on etc at checkin.

I have no pity for air asia anyway. They've treated their customers so bad since covid

Ive never had a problem with them and i always carry more. Just put heavy items like powerbanks etc in your pockets etc and carry on. Then put them in your bag later. Wear extra layers. I also use a bum bag and they dont notice or have a problem (just dont point it out to them!). They dont weigh bags at the gate but even if they did, most airlines here will only check if it looks really big or heavy. I notice most people have more than they should in thailand.
