Is being outside Thailand for 3 months enough for re-entry after a 2-year stay on a tourist visa with extensions?

I was now 3 months outside of thailand, is that long enough? I stayed last time around 2 years on tourist exempt+covidextension. Would it help if i am applying for Elite at the same time?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the implications of being outside Thailand for three months after a two-year stay on a tourist visa with extensions, and whether applying for the Thailand Elite Visa during this period would be beneficial. Community responses suggest that the user will likely be fine upon return if they prepare all necessary documentation.

Dont worry about it. You will be fine. Just make sure you have all the things you're meant to on arrival. Proof of accom. Proof of funds. Proof of flight out. Then you wont have an issue. Its all in the preparation.

3 months isn't really the issue its more about how many months you have stayed in this current year if on a visa exempt or tourist.

Stayed mid 2021 till 2023 may, on visa exempt and covidextension. Now was 3 months outside, would that be fine? And i am planning to apply for Elite, but has a waiting time.

Hard to say. Maybe get the elite visa first.
