I have only had the airlines look for my departure ticket. Historically, I have just purchased a throw away ticket from airasia. Cambodia is opening to flights. As is Malaysia. No one ever checked my ability to take the flight

I had my departure ticket for 89 days - they asked for 60 - so I bought a “cheap” one to KL as a disposable ticket. But my evisa is going through the LA consulate, they may be sticklers

yes. I had a ticket with the assumption that I would be getting the 30 day extension. The evisa didn’t care about that. I was pretty impressed with the fast response asking for a 60 day departure flight

I just did my TR evisa and they emailed me within 4 hrs asking for my departure ticket showing by the 60 days - not the 90 that I am hoping to stay

I just did that crossing. It was super easy. Ranong was a surprise - nice place to spend a couple of days. The actual visa run was slick and fast. 2-3 hrs tops. Feel free to PM me and I can share my info
